Meet Meera

Pets have always played a special role in my life. They’ve been my companions, my comfort, and my biggest source of inspiration. First, there was Lollipop, my bunny, then Romeo, my mischievous hamster, and now my cat, Simba, who has been my loyal buddy for a few years. Simba has a special gift for sensing when I need calm or encouragement—he’s always there, curling up next to me while I draw. Pets bring unconditional love and joy, and they inspire me to capture those moments of connection and emotion in my art. Each portrait is a celebration of that unique bond, reflecting not just how a pet looks but the warmth and happiness they bring to our lives.

From the moment I grabbed a crayon in kindergarten, art became my passion. Now, as a young adult, that love has only grown, like wildflowers in the sun. Drawing animals fills me with energy; each line brings these inspiring creatures to life. As someone with autism, my art is more than a creative outlet—it’s a way to connect, spark conversations, and celebrate the beauty of neurodiversity. Through bright colours and playful strokes, I hope to raise awareness about autism and encourage others to see the world through a new lens—one full of understanding, compassion, and joy.
